So i today chose to boost my i7 870 to 4ghz and i'm curious about the temperatures. Right now i have about 40-45 idle and 80 under 100% load. Should i increase my fans or maybe lower the clock a bit?

I remember you mentioned not wanting to exceed around 80 degrees on the chips, as that could cause them to slow down. What were you focusing on or loading?

I was doing Cinabench 20 so it pushed it hard a lot, but I don't think I really noticed anything while playing casually.

It seems like this game might require more processing power than most would expect, especially considering the age of your graphics card. You should be fine.
