Question Overclocking RAM to Advertised Clock Speed Causes BSoD
When I initially set up this system, I attempted to turn on XMP, and began experiencing occasional BSoDs (blips) in an irregular pattern—usually every half hour to a couple of hours. These incidents happened no matter what applications were active at the time. At first, I was frustrated, but later I figured the problem might be linked to the overclocking. I restored my memory settings back to the default BIOS configuration and suddenly the BSoDs stopped. I also tried a "Memory Try It!" preset that matched my hardware specs, but the issue persisted. After updating my BIOS and retrying overclocking, nothing changed. I’m running out of options and hope to get my memory operating at its intended speed.
