Using Intel Tuning Extreme I achieved a 4.7GHZ on core ratio but only 4.6 on cache ratio, which feels a bit low compared to what I've seen online. I'm using the sliders because I'm nervous about making mistakes and still new to advanced settings. I'm worried my CPU might get damaged, so any advice would be really appreciated.

Since the CPU can easily reach 5.0ghz and beyond, but lacks proper cooling, avoid overclocking.
You might still make mistakes with unfamiliar software; bios are the most reliable method.

I also face the challenge of locating a manual that clearly outlines everything. For the main ratio, I generally receive a solid explanation, though for load line calibration it often comes as something like "controller for load line."
