I recently boosted my GTX 1050ti with MSI afterburner, reaching +215 MHz clock speed and +1000 Memory Clock. With temperatures holding steady and thorough stress tests completed, should I continue pushing it further?

It varies based on the additional performance you receive. The power limit determines the upper performance boundary. With only 75 watts, overclocking won't yield much improvement, but at 150 watts you can explore further before throttling in games.

Another review highlights a similar setup with an MSI GTX1050 Ti and notes a modest 7-8% boost, which might only add a few frames in certain titles. Expect the clock speed to drop around 1850MHz. MSI boards generally cap at 113 watts.

Upgrading lower-end components doesn't offer the same gains as upgrading premium ones. Premium parts typically have more cores.

your 1050ti oc is setting the default frequency to 1800 mhz even though you intended it to run at 1050 ti.

The small difference between 1050 and 1050 Ti stems partly from Nvidia’s 75 W limit on both models. Getting the 1050 Ti under that limit needs slower clock speeds, while the 1050 handles higher speeds more easily. Boards with a six-pin power connector and above the official TDP offer ample space for overclocking and pushing frequencies further. The MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4 GB tested by our German team ran smoothly at 1900 MHz.
