Hi guys
I tried playing Word of Warcraft on my Dell Latitude E6430 with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and the Intel R (HD) graphics card. After the Shadowland pre-patch, I can't play at all—FPS drops from 16 to 2. I don’t have the budget to buy a new laptop or PC. I thought about overclocking or adjusting settings in the control panel, but there are no options for changing graphics or power settings. It seems Dell might be blocking that. I installed the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, but it doesn’t have a graphic tuning tab either. Anyone can help me improve my graphics performance so I can play?
CPU: Core i7
RAM: 8 GB 1600 MHz

Have you thought about using a GPU instead of HD graphics, which is quite basic? You could get better performance.

can you provide more details about your situation?
internal or external graphics card?
it’s really tough to locate external graphics cards in my country.
even finding an external PCIe dock is challenging.
i looked online and didn’t find anything.

You won't be able to boost integrated graphics on a laptop.
In BIOS you might try using more VRAM for the IGPU, but it probably won't make a difference.
Intel HD is not designed for gaming purposes.

I reviewed all the BIOS settings and found no way to allocate additional shared RAM to the graphics system. The automatic allocation provided 2 GB of RAM for the graphics.
