Hi
I plan to swap my old COOLER MASTER v650 PSU with the MSI MPG A650GF.
OLD PSU details:
120 mm fan, 140*150 mm case
NEW PSU details:
140 mm fan, 160*150 mm case

The grille of the old PSU matches the ventilation panel on the bottom of my DEEP COOL case perfectly. Since I haven’t received the MSI yet, I’m assuming it’s installed centrally in the PSU. About 2 cm of the fan will be covered by the case, due to the asymmetric fan placement and openings.

Could this affect the fan/PSU performance and possibly cause overheating or other issues?
There are other smaller options available, such as the CORSAIR CX650F, ASUS TUF GAMING 650B, and XPG PYLON 650W. Would you think these might be better alternatives?

I tend to be very careful when purchasing PC components and want to evaluate all factors. Maybe I made a mistake or there’s nothing to worry about.
Appreciate your help ahead of time.

The MSI unit stands out compared to the others you mentioned; I would choose that one. Regarding the size, they are all ATX power supplies, and as long as the length fits your setup without issues, there should be no problems. The bottom vent appears to be a typical design and shouldn't cause any concerns. I haven't encountered any problems with cases meant for ATX-compliant PSUs in that area before.

The real model for your Deepcool instance is likely standard unless there are very specific exceptions.

I understand it's a typical ATX case. The model is KENDOMEN. Here is the link:
https://www.deepcool.com/products/Cases/...5203.shtml
The specification table indicates "Power Supply Type: ATX PS2"

It should be fine. I see no reason why it wouldn't be.
