Question No screen after new GPU
Question No screen after new GPU
I own a PC
MOBO - gigabyte B450M DS3H
Processor - ryzen 5 something AM4
Memory - 2x8gb ripjaws
Graphics - GTX 650 and 1660 Super
Power Supply - corsair CX 750
Changed from GTX 650 to 1660 after removal, but power on works fine with lights and fans. Restarting doesn't restore the screen.
I had an old computer and changed the GPUs, it functioned properly then the next time I tried it it stopped completely. System details: Mobo model gigabyte B450M DS3H, CPU cooler wraith prism, CPU originally a Ryzen 5 2600 swapped to 5600, GPU changed from 650 to 1660 Super, PSU Corsair CX750, RAM 2x8gb g.skill rippjaws, case with some bears case glass front and 3 120mm fans. I replaced the GPU first, it worked fine then one day no output at all. After resetting the CMOS, they sent it to a repair shop but they couldn't find any issues with the CPU or motherboard since they didn't have AM4 parts. They replaced the CPU with the old one and it also failed when installed in a new system. Now I'm trying the Ryzen 5 5600 and the same problem persists. I suspect the motherboard might be faulty or something I'm missing. Side notes: the power button behaves oddly, turning on but not shutting off.
