The adapter I talked about belongs to the motherboard, not the case. It has a "Front card" that connects to the right side of the RAM, featuring 4x SATA ports, a sys_fan, a LED connector, and a 2x5 pin connector for the front panel adapter—all standard connections. The manual says to plug the front panel into the adapter, which I did. I’m not sure if I can connect it directly to the board without the adapter, but I’ll check online.

If you purchased the case recently, you should return it for a replacement. Reach out to Fractal and describe your situation to them. They’ll let you know if they accept returns or prefer to handle it directly. Based on my experience, Fractal Design is extremely responsive and provides excellent customer service.
