I just updated my system to a 12th gen Intel with 12700k, but Far Cry 5 still won't launch. No matter how many times I press play in Steam on my Windows 11 machine. Did I only encounter problems with Far Cry Primal's CPU?

Far cry 4 began on core 3, which meant it wouldn't function properly on dual-core processors unless modified.

The issue arises because DRM isn't compatible with a 12th generation processor. Far Cry 5 probably uses the same DRM as the impacted titles.
