Question Need some help figuring out what piece this is (Fixed).
Hey there! My family gave me a laptop to fix. The hard drives were broken, so I swapped them out and was ready to put Windows back on my computer when I heard a weird shaking sound next to the battery. I opened it up and saw what was causing it, but I don't even know what that part is!! Does anyone recognize this part in the picture? (Sorry the photo is small.) Thanks so much!
That makes sense! I'm using an MSI GS70 Stealth, but my Windows install is giving me full beans on the system. Maybe I should unplug it and skip the bass. Thanks for helping out so much. I will check this out later!
Ok solved, but I'll write about this so someone else might find it later on. It is indeed a subwoofer. The noise is actually because the battery died, which I just discovered. It's sending electricity to the Sub and making it work all the time. Thanks again for helping me!
