According to the documentation, you're correct. On newegg the initial description mentions a BIOS update might be needed. Currently, I'm asking AMD for a Boot-Kit and checking if I can obtain a spare RAM, as I've recently relocated to Oakville, Canada, and don't have nearby stores or friends who can help.
I'm not certain about their meaning. At this time, I had taken out the radiator.
I'm looking for a used RAM to try it out. If it functions, I'll bring back the existing RAM.
You don't have a CPU cooler installed, the 12V power supply connected, and the fan connected. These steps are essential to begin using a PC. I'm sure you didn't attempt to start your computer without a CPU cooler—it's a risky move that could cause damage. Also, make sure the rear fan cable is properly routed around the fan blades. If needed, flip the AIO radiator upside down so hoses connect at the bottom. Never place the pump at the highest point of the loop; this can lead to air bubbles and eventual pump failure.
The CPU requires the cooler pressure to establish contact, which is why some suggest using your body weight if you need to boot without a cooler. However, only perform POST at most, turn it off immediately afterward, and wear insulating clothing because you'll risk getting burned. Alternatively, just install the cooler. That seems like the best approach, though I don't think it's prohibited in the same way as avoiding lying flat while intoxicated.
We removed the CPU cooler to capture the image. Where is the 12V power connector and the wire? We can't locate them. Regarding the CPU fan, are you referring to the heatsink? We switched to an AIO liquid cooler instead of the heatsink. We didn't attempt to start the PC without the cooler. We plan to flip the AIO radiator. Thanks for the advice.
