processor : i5 12600 KF
cooling fan : Noctua redux
motherboard : gigabyte z690 DDR4 ud axx
ram : teamforec 3600 kit (2x16gb)
video : amd rx580 8g
storage : m2 nvme 512 ssd
power unit : cougar 1200
i have installed bios updates to the newest release
each time i attempt to run games such as sniper ghost warrior my pc shuts down
i applied xmp profile 1 on ram and cpu gaming mode
switching cpu back to default works properly
any advice on why this occurred ???

The cougar brand refers to the device, while 1200 indicates its advertised wattage. I recommend mentioning the model and its age if it's been in use. The CPU fan is a Noctua redux. Noctua offers several CPU coolers in the Redux range—do you have one?
