Question My device powered off during gameplay and the BIOS fails to save new configurations
My machine shuts down on its own during gameplay, often after the media player restarts several times before the shutdown. This typically occurs around an hour while playing games; for other tasks it's fine, though lighter activities like browsing cause issues. I also face issues with BIOS settings that aren't saved each time I power on the computer. Previously, I updated the BIOS to the latest version, installed a new M.2 SSD, and refreshed all drivers.
I also face an issue with BIOS configurations that fail to persist when restarting the machine. You may wish to replace the CMOS battery with a new cell and check if the settings in BIOS remain unchanged after a reboot.
Before this problem occurred, I updated the BIOS to the latest version, installed a new M.2 SSD, and refreshed all my drivers.
Did you reset the CMOS after confirming the BIOS flash was successful?
