Question My computer won’t power up despite swapping the motherboard and power supply unit
I swapped out the PSU and motherboard and double-checked that everything is properly connected. My new motherboard doesn’t have a red light, so I’m not sure what’s wrong. I’ve tried all the new cables already and still nothing, so I really need some advice. Thank you!
Please give your system specs. (along with old and new ones for the components replaced)
It’s a Ryzen 9 5900X with a 2070 graphics card, an MSI Mag B650 motherboard, an EVGA 1000 Gold power supply, two M.2 SSDs, two hard drives, a Corsair liquid cooler (name not remembered), and 64 GB of RAM. It worked well for about five years before I replaced the PSU, then changed the motherboard without any improvement. Now I’ve swapped the motherboard but nothing has changed.
Before it would fail, it didn’t work at all, so I changed them one by one. I began with just the PSU and then moved to the motherboard, but it still didn’t turn on.
