My computer is having issues. It shuts off unexpectedly, regardless of the activity on the system. It doesn't matter what task I'm performing.

Some instances when it turned off:
1. After five minutes without any work.
2. During gameplay, sometimes it stops after ten minutes, other times after two hours. This is confusing.

Actions I took to investigate:
1. Ran a Cinnebench test to check if it shut down during that process. It didn't occur.
2. Used AMD Ryzen Master to automatically optimize the processor.

Possible causes I considered:
- GPU drivers might be outdated, especially if updated less than a week ago.
- Temperature readings were checked, but games like Forza Horizon kept temperatures below 60°C.

Computer specifications:
Ryzen 9 5950X
DeepCool AS 500 Plus
MPG x570S Edge Max Wifi
x 2 16gb RAM 3200
3070 TI MSI Ventus X 3
Corsair 850W Gold

Likely overheating issue detected. Verify CPU and GPU temperatures. Apply MSI afterburner.

As Skynet suggested, if it fails then after a cooling phase it indicates a thermal issue. The 5950x stays quite warm during idle. It produces significant heat, so monitoring with HWmonitor is advised while it runs. Currently, the 5950x is idling at 56°C, with an ambient temperature of 38.3°C. Shutdown occurs at 80°C or 90°C. Check the specifications for more details.

The brand and model of the RAM are not specified. The exact BIOS version on the motherboard is also not mentioned.
