Question My computer is constantly losing track of the NVMe drive.
My pc continues to ignore the Nvme drive until I take certain actions. I reset the bios, unplugged both SSD and HDD, shut down the computer and removed the power from the wall outlet. After restarting, it recognized the Nvme drive again. Then I powered it back on, connecting both drives and turning off power before plugging them in. It started functioning normally for a while, but whenever I sleep, the issue recurs. This has occurred a few times over the past couple of years, but it's been consistent lately. Currently, I've run memory diagnostics with no errors, replaced the CMOS battery, and it worked perfectly for three days before the problem returned. The motherboard is an MSI Z170A gaming board.
