Question MSI Afterburner fails to display CPU temperature.
Question MSI Afterburner fails to display CPU temperature.
Hello everyone, I've just switched to the AM5 platform, cloned my system onto a new M.2 drive, and now I'm facing an issue with MSI Afterburner not displaying CPU temperature. I've marked both CPU.dll and HwInfo.dll in Active hardware monitoring graphs, but I can view the temperature in HWiNFO64 itself. The MSI Afterburner doesn't show anything despite checking the "CPU temperature" option and enabling "Show in On-Screen Display." Have anyone else experienced this problem? How did they resolve it? Thanks!
I also faced problems with MSI afterburner in WoW, trying to view what I wanted to see. During my search, I found a WoWhead article about monitoring hardware in games, which talked about MSI afterburner and CapframeX. I switched to CapframeX and found it much better, providing the information I needed.
Identical outcome, chosen CPU temperature is displayed but not visible; only shown via HwINFO64
