Hi everyone, seeking guidance after my PC ceased sending a monitor signal following the cleaning process. Here’s what I’ve noticed and done:

My system was quite dusty when I cleaned it—since it’s been over ten years. I used compressed air and gently wiped the top of the PSU and the hard drive bay with a dry microfibre cloth, being careful not to touch the motherboard.

I didn’t disassemble the PC, remove any fans, or take out RAM. Just dusted it as it was. All LEDs are functioning, and the fans continue to spin.

Recently, I replaced my GPU with a 4070 Super to upgrade from a 1080 Ti. The system worked perfectly with the new card. I’ve tested both GPUs, but neither sends a monitor signal. I also cleaned the PCI-E socket interior with compressed air without success.

I’ve also tried another monitor, but had no luck. I reset my memory after spraying compressed air into the slots, but nothing changed.

The EZ Debug LEDs didn’t stay on either. The CPU LED briefly activated but turned off within seconds.

I’ve considered checking if the Caps Lock LED on my keyboard indicates a Windows boot, but it doesn’t light up—so I assume it never reaches Windows.

It stopped functioning last night and still isn’t working this morning.

I sprayed compressed air through the CPU fan down onto the heatsink, though I can’t explain why that would matter.

No iGPU to test with (Ryzen 5 3600).
I really appreciate any advice or support you can offer!

Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system information.
PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, used, refurbished)?
Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, current usage?
Was the PC powered down and disconnected during maintenance? After cleaning, did you allow some time before restarting?
Compressed air is cold and tends to create condensation when blown; water accumulation can lead to electrical shorts if power is applied.
Consider resetting CMOS using the instructions in the motherboard’s User Guide or manual.
Also, consult the manual to verify all connections and configuration settings.
