I have an OptiPlex 390 with my parts: an Intel i5 2400, 8GB DDR3 1366 MHz RAM, a Dell power supply, and an RX 550. This setup has been stable for six months without any issues. Recently, I overclocked the RX 550 from core clock 1206 to 1400 and memory from 1750 to 1900. After running Unigine Heaven for one cycle, everything worked fine with temperatures never exceeding 54°C. I played games like Fortnite and Apex normally, but after five days my performance started to drop significantly. In Apex and Fortnite, FPS dropped to just 1, causing freezes or blue screens. Eventually, I removed the overclock from the graphics card and returned everything to default. It still happened, except for the PubG Mobile emulator, which remained stable. After reinstalling Windows 10, the problem persisted, with some videos showing only 60fps and stuttering under demanding tasks. Could it be related to the graphics card or something else? Please help!

Ensure drivers are current. If not, consider updating them. If needed, revert drivers to the version from six months prior. Use MSI Afterburner to fully utilize its power and temperature limits without overclocking.

I've experienced issues with Radeon Cards prior, and sometimes the latest drivers cause compatibility problems with your preferred games. If a working driver exists, I usually disable updates to maintain stability, opting for a different approach each year.
