Hello everyone. I’m facing a small issue with my 3 1/2 year old Logitech 910. The title isn’t a mistake—it actually describes the problem: I often end up pressing keys twice or three times, even though I only press them once. It seems likely the issue is caused by space bar and sometimes other characters. I’m not trying to double-click intentionally, and a search shows others have had the same problem too. It happens intermittently.
I’ve removed the key caps, cleaned with IsoPro, used Isopropyl alcohol, and blown everything out with compressed air. Still no improvement.
My old G510 doesn’t have the problem, and my friend’s Razer Blackwiidow doesn’t either. I think the keyboard’s firmware might be near the end of its life. It’s a shame because I used a G15 until I could no longer read the keys, and my 510 has been working for over five years now. I just seem to really enjoy mechanical keyboards and hope they lasted longer.
Any suggestions or comments on handling this issue would be appreciated. I’d prefer not to spend more money on a new keyboard.
I believe you're considering swapping the switches for those keys.
I've been using my 510s for around ten years and still enjoy them.
You can purchase four on eBay for roughly ten dollars, though they're shipped from China or from a video showing him replacing other keys he rarely used.

I would likely have tried that 10-15 years ago, but as I've gotten older I've built up a tremor (shakiness) that makes doing small, important tasks really tough; it probably ends up with a soldier and burned pcb everywhere. I believe my G15 is still being used by my grandson as a secondary board, and my 510 is still working fine; my son-in-law had a 510S which went to my youngest grandson, and he's still using it. It seems like I'm likely going back to mine.
