Question Lines displayed in the taskbar during Windows booting?
Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue where I see some lines on my taskbar only on my first monitor. This happens occasionally when I start my PC, but not when it’s running normally. The problem seems to disappear after restarting the computer. I also notice my computer feels slower during these times. I tried uninstalling the GPU drivers and updating them to the latest version, but that didn’t resolve it. I suspect the problem might be related to the GPU, though I’m not sure if it’s a constant issue. Do you know what could be causing this or if others have similar experiences?
Best regards,
Danny
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, ensure you provide complete system details. List the specifications to your build following this format:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Also include the age of the PSU, along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
If you think the GPU drivers are the problem, use DDU to remove all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia) and then reinstall manually via an elevated command—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
Hello, I've already completed a full DDU setup, but it didn't improve the situation—it even seemed to worsen. The system details are as follows: CPU is a Ryzen 7 5700x, cooler is Scythe Fuma 3, motherboard is MSI x470 gaming plus, RAM includes four 8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro modules, storage consists of two 1TB SSDs, GPU is RX6700XT from Gigabyte, power supply is Corsair RM750, chassis is Corsair 500 D SE Obsidian, operating system is W11, monitor is ASUS VG32VQ.
