Hello. I'm working with a Lenovo Legion 5 15iah7 laptop. It charges quickly when the battery is near 20%, taking about 90 minutes during use, usually around noon. After about three hours of use, it turns off again and needs roughly 90 minutes to charge properly. The issue arises if I leave it unused for a day—then charging it afterward only reaches around 70%. For instance, on Wednesday evening the battery dropped below 20%, and on Thursday it was idle before charging, also reaching only about 70% after three hours. If I skip use over the weekend, the same pattern continues. Anyone else notice this behavior or a protective feature? Previously with Dell and HP, such problems didn't occur.

Just a theory, but throughout the week you keep using it until it reaches 20%, then continue using it until it recharges before it depletes again, repeating this cycle every day. If you skip a cycle or don’t charge it all weekend, the laptop may need a full recharge to reset the battery.

I also have an Asus G15 that shows a message on the screen when I work on it and leave it plugged in, warning me to unplug it so the battery can drain properly.

The theory seems reasonable, though there are concerns about whether it will occur. Additionally, the laptop's design for gaming might not have supported longer battery life (I didn't use it for gaming, only for browsing).
