After installing the 24H2 version, I observed a noticeable decrease in performance when launching programs. This is the first time I've experienced the "Windows loading circle" during startup. Usually, I don't see it at all or only briefly.

I conducted a test using my stopwatch. Out of five randomly selected programs, four took between 3 to 3.5 seconds to respond. After uninstalling the update and restarting, all five programs responded in 0.5 to 1 second. It appears this update is causing several issues for users.

Anyone else have noticed this slowdown?

Examine your system's performance through Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer (Microsoft, free).
Check the differences in resource usage and running processes using all three tools one at a time.
Identify variations between "Slow" and "Fast" when running the 5 programs with and without updates.
Perform "dism" and "sfc /scannow" to detect and repair corrupted or faulty files.
