Hey, I noticed a clicking sound coming from the PSU area. I can hear it both when the PC is running and when it's off. The PC is new, the PSU is 500W, and it has an i5-12400f CPU, a 3060 12GB GPU, and DDR4 memory. The noise is described as ticking, which seems to match what I'm hearing.

That seems like a poor fan. It should be swapped right away if it's the PSU. Make sure no other fans are obstructed.

It's a relay. The PSU is from the brand and model you're asking about.

I just imported that sound into Audacity and adjusted it to make the chatter more distinct against the background noise. There’s a consistent rhythm that might remind you of a drum set. Initially, this might suggest a fan problem, but a quick visual check can confirm if the fan is actually spinning. If it spins at a normal speed, the fan issue is likely ruled out. It’s worth noting whether the sound changes in intensity or frequency when the load is altered, such as during a stress test.
