I assembled a PC and placed the Windows installation on a USB drive. When I connect the Windows 11 USB, I encounter the message "install driver to show hardware" and am unsure how to proceed.

I'm stuck here now. When I click next nothing happens. I managed to get this far by connecting my old drives to the PC that has Windows 10 installed. I used the USB media tool for Windows 11 as before.

It's strange how it finally finished loading for Windows 11 after a really long wait

Not sure about the reason for the delay.
During Windows installation, only one drive of at least 256 GB should be designated as the C: drive.
It seems the intended install location is 1 TB – is that accurate?
All other drives need to be removed or disconnected before installing or reinstalling Windows.
This might be because Windows continuously scans all other drives for compatibility.
Before proceeding, open Disk Management, expand the view so all drives are visible, take a screenshot, and share it here via imgur (www.imgur.com).
Just a quick sanity check to confirm everything is correct.

I initially set up a m.2 drive, but the installer reported a hardware problem. I then connected my previous drives and successfully installed Windows 11 on disk 2. Disk 0 remains my old SSD, disk 1 holds my Windows 10 system, and disk 2 is now running Windows 11.

Just need Windows 11 on the M.2 drive and make space on the other drives for storage.

Did you forget to mention your hardware? Which storage devices are available for you? Is there a model that includes an M.2 slot?

since your memory is full and all drives are loaded, remove everything except the M2 drive, install Windows, and then reinstall the disks. Try using an ISO file to burn it with Rufus.
