Question Incorrect dimensions for Be Quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W?
Hello!
I recently purchased a new RTX 4070ti and decided to upgrade the power supply as well.
The case I’m using is an older NZXT S340 black, and the new PSU is a be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W.
My previous PSU was an EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2.
From what I understand, both are ATX PS2, but when I installed the new PSU today it wasn’t enough. I know there are mounts that can change the chassis from ATX to SFX, but I’m not sure if that would fix the problem.
I’m trying to figure out where I went wrong in my research. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Best,
ZVN
That model is a standard size ATX PSU, so I don't know what to tell you... You shouldn't need any kind of adapter plate. Did you leave a mounting plate on the old PSU without realizing, maybe? That case uses a rectangular plate held on with 4 thumb screws to mount the PSU - if it's missing the resulting hole would be too big.
