Pushing 200-270 fps in Valorant when I watch other benchmarks they usually get upwards of 350-400 and I am not sure what the reason is3
I do have gsync enabled and Vsync to utilize both but my FPS is very different than what I expect can anyone help me.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
I'm trying to hit 200-270 fps in Valorant, but when I compare with other benchmarks they often reach 350-400 and I'm still puzzled about why.
Maybe it's related to the YT?
What is your motherboard model? What BIOS version does it use?
Power Supply: 850W Corsair RM850
You might have considered purchasing a 1KW PSU instead of an 850W one.
OS installation: Fresh Windows 11?
Where did you get the installer from? Did you install the OS offline? Did you run it in administrator mode by right-clicking and selecting Run as Administrator?
CPU cooler: Corsair H100i 240 AIO
You should have chosen a bigger radiatored AIO, around 360mm.
Yeah YT videos but even then 12900k pushing 200-250 frames when I used to get liike 300-400 frames is hard to understand. Recently it seems different.
I used a Pro Z690 A model and MSI PRO Z690-A LGA 1700 ATX.
BIOS version was American Megatrends International, LLC. 1.00, dated 9/14/2021.
The installer I used was the Windows 11 USB Installation creation tool from Microsoft.
I didn’t install it in offline mode and didn’t use any extra drivers in elevated commands.
The CPU cooler was a past choice and won’t go with water cooling in the future.
My 12900k in valorant is running on a single tower air cooler. It's definitely not your typical setup, lol.
