I assembled my PC roughly a week ago and here are the details:
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: Radeon 9070 XT
RAM: 32GB DDR5 Kingston Fury CL30 6000 MHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Gaming Wi-Fi 6
Power Supply: Corsair RM850x Shift
SSD (NVMe): WD Blue SN5000
AIO: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360
Case: Montech 903 Air Max
Operating System: Windows 11
Display: 1080p 240Hz (planning upgrade to 1440p)

I have attempted multiple solutions without success:
- Reinstalled AMD drivers
- Updated BIOS
- Tested EXPO 1, 2, and 3
- Modified various BIOS parameters
- Adjusted AMD Adrenalin settings (Anti-Lag, Enhanced Sync, etc.)
- Confirmed temperatures remained normal

Issues I’m facing include stutters across several games:
- Sprocket: clearly noticeable
- Farming Simulator 22: stutters every 5–10 seconds
- CS2: previously had stuttering; BIOS update seems resolved
- EU5: not optimized well, but same problem persists in other titles
- Craftmine (anagram): stutters during terrain loading (every half second until chunks load)
- PEAK: stutters every 5–10 seconds

With mods and shaders enabled in Craftmine, loading new areas becomes unstable. On my brother’s machine (i7-14700KF, 4070 Ti Super, 32 GB DDR5), only slight stuttering appeared. On my older PC (i5-9400F, GTX 1660 Super, 16 GB RAM), I experienced minor stutters in Craftmine—nothing comparable.

I’m uncertain whether the problem lies in drivers, component compatibility, build configuration, missing BIOS tweaks, or simply insufficient optimization. I’m not sure if further adjustments are necessary or if I should wait for upcoming driver updates.

Hello there! You mentioned setting up your system a week ago, with the OS drive transferred to the new setup without reinstalling it. Could you also share the BIOS version of your motherboard for reference?

I performed a smooth setup of Windows 11, and the BIOS was upgraded from version F3 to F6.

What adjustments are being made to your CPU, GPU, or memory? Temperature readings at rest and during workload are important. Confirm if your display is linked directly to the GPU or a motherboard video port.

I'm not increasing any settings,
CPU temperatures during full load stay under 85°C, but at gaming loads they range from 50 to 70°C.
GPU temperature is about 57°C and memory stays near 72-75°C in gaming conditions.
It's connected directly to the GPU through Display Port.

Is there an overlay active while playing to track GPU and CPU performance? If the GPU usage drops sharply and CPU usage rises during stutters, it may indicate a CPU issue. You mentioned installing AMD DRIVERS—does that package also contain chipset drivers?

I'm using MSI Afterburner, but it still behaves poorly. When working with certain assets in Sprocket, it stutters intensely, reducing GPU usage while CPU remains unchanged. During peak times, stuttering doesn't alter any metrics, except during texture loading or similar actions where a single drop in GPU usage and rise in CPU occurred. I have the newest drivers for both GPU and CPU, along with the chipset, and I'm running BIOS version 7d.

It seems you're asking if you tried the previous GPU with a fresh DDU/driver setup to avoid nVidia driver tweaks for your applications.

I didn't use the old GPU, but I tried DDU and a fresh driver installation. I'm still unsure about the NVIDIA optimization section.

Curious if the nVidia GPU package performs better for those applications compared to the AMD GPU driver on the latest version. Your brother also uses nVidia.
