Hello, I was informed this location could be extremely useful!
Issue :: Each time I engage with Unity-based games (Green Hell is among them) my application freezes, turns black, or crashes immediately. I manage to enter the loading phase without issues, but the game only lasts a couple of minutes before it stops. Never reached the five-minute threshold.
Specifications for Green Hell:
- 64-bit processor and operating system required
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit
- Processor: 3.2 GHz Dual Core
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce 970, Radeon RX 580 or equivalent with 4GB video RAM
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 8 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX compatible

Here are the details of my machine:
Intel Core i7-9700K (8 Core 3.6GHZ) with water cooling
16 GB DDR4-3000 RAM
Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super 8GB
Asrock Z390 phantom gaming
650W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply
Windows 10 Home 64-Bit

Attempts to resolve the issues:
- Restarted the PC twice using factory settings
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the system
- Updated GPU drivers to the latest version
- Executed as administrator with compatibility mode enabled
- Deleted UnityPlayer.dll file and checked game integrity on Steam
- Verified if Windows Defender was interfering
- Lowered graphics settings in-game
- Bypassed firewall restrictions via Steam

I searched extensively online for solutions but found nothing effective. A friend using an I7-8700k, GTX 1080, and 16 GB RAM can play the game without any problems. If anyone has advice, please let me know! Thank you very much.
