For roughly four months, my MSI 4070 Ti Super Expert has been emitting a persistent high-pitched chirping noise from both fans. I first became aware of it after relocating the PC to my desk.

Here are the main points and oddities:
· The pulsing sound occurs at different RPMs and isn’t always linked to fan speed. Sometimes it goes unnoticed for weeks, and its pitch changes based on the GPU driver version.
· Both fans are in good condition—no play, no wobble, and they don’t produce grinding or rattling noises. The fans themselves appear mechanically sound.
· The noise seems affected by the orientation of my GPU support stand.
· Oddly enough, touching the metal clip on my CPU cooler can trigger the GPU fans to chirp.
Has anyone encountered this issue? Is it related to coil whine in the fans or something else? Any suggestions for resolving it would be very helpful.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
The pulsing chirp varies with RPM and isn't always linked to fan speed. It might not be heard for weeks, and its character changes based on the GPU driver version. Are you confusing fan noise from the VRM area with coil whine from the power supply unit?
You could try placing the system on its side so the GPU is vertical and observe if the fan noise responds.
Power Supply: DeepCool DQ850 Gold
How recent is your PSU?
· Oddly enough, touching the metal clip on my CPU cooler often triggers the GPU fans to chirp.
Do you have any grounding problems in your setup?

I wasn't able to detect any chirping. I increased the volume to the highest setting, but it still sounded like a standard fan running.

Are you sure you're not misunderstanding the noise caused by fans and coil whine from the VRM section on the card? It's mostly clear, since the chirping disappears when I stop the fans. Do you think there might be a grounding problem in your home? I haven't encountered such an issue before. The PSU is two years old.

. Here is a better example. It is high pitched squeaking noice on the top of normal fans sound.

Did you intend to ask about that faint (nearly invisible) noise sound?

It might be the sound of a spinning hard drive.

It seems more related to vibration or grounding rather than coil whine. Consider repositioning the card or modifying the support bracket and observe if it stabilizes.

Yesterday, I attempted to modify both case panels, and the results have clearly improved. I'm still observing a performance around 69% RPM, especially when paying close attention inside the enclosure. The noise level seems to vary based on how securely certain bolts are tightened.

From my observations, it seems the problem is limited to electrical noise coming from the GPU's PWM fan control signal. The fans are functioning mechanically, spinning properly without any issues, so mechanical failure is unlikely. The issue lies in the electrical command being sent to the fans. The GPU's internal controller is sending a distorted or noisy signal to the motor drivers, which leads to vibrations and the characteristic chirping sound. This suggests an acoustic problem tied to the fan controller circuitry. I still don’t understand why it also makes noise when touching the CPU heatsink, maybe it’s related to resonance.
