Hi, I'm using Fedora 42 Cinnamon on a desktop with a new GeForce GT 1030 GPU. The Nvidia drivers are installed, but nouveau is disabled in the kernel. However, I'm not able to get the system to support resolutions above 1920 x 1080. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

9 resolution possible with single-link DVI at 60Hz. A dual-link DVI cable or HDMI would be needed for higher resolutions. Alternatively, a DisplayPort could work, though it would remove the DVI port.

Thank you for your message. I'm working with HDMI and have also tested with Display Port without any changes.

Cinnamon usually relies on Xorg, so consider using the terminal command xrandr to adjust the resolution. If you find a file named cinnamon-settings-daemon-xrandr.desktop in the hidden directory/.config/autostart, try removing it as well.
