I've been experiencing quite a lot of "frame lag" while playing games on my PC. I've attached a video showing the lag around 2 seconds. It appears to occur in most games, though it's more noticeable in Brawlhalla. I work in IT but haven't been able to identify the cause.
Here are my system details:
Operating System: Win10
CPU: Ryzen 5 5800x
Motherboard: Asus Strix B550-F gaming (AM4)
GPU: RTX 3090
RAM: Corsair 32GB DDR4 with XMP profile at 3200Mhz
Power Supply: 850W
Storage: Samsung M.2 for games and OS
The GPU and PSU were purchased from a friend after about a year, following an upgrade to the latest model. The rest were bought new.
I'm wondering if the issue might be related to my PSU failing or problems with the GPU, given that it was disassembled and modified. Anyone have any suggestions or questions?

Hey, the brand of the PSU is Cooler master if im correct and i feel like i've had it for like a year and i believe my friend had it for atleast 2 or 3.
other games i get very similiar stutters too, it just feels like my game is not running in 144+ fps but it is.
i have done a fresh reinstall of GPU drivers just not OS yet

No problem. The model number was more crucial than identifying the exact brand, but it seems you already have a good power supply unit. Corsair TX-M series are recognized for their solid construction and reliability.
However, even well-known PSUs can malfunction, and since you've mentioned modifying this one, we can't be certain. You might want to try testing your PSU with this tool.

I will proceed with that, though I might have misidentified which component was adjusted. I also implemented other modifications such as turning off the Discord overlay, similar to suggestions from someone else on another forum. I haven’t confirmed if these changes worked yet, but I’ll check as soon as possible. Additionally, I attempted to uninstall and reinstall my drivers using DDU, but that caused my PC to become unusable, with the installation repeatedly stopping without any error messages.
