Question Fan speed during save overclocking
Question Fan speed during save overclocking
Hi,
after overclocking my GPU and planning to save, I wondered about adjusting the fan speed. Should I set it to around 75, match the temperature preference, or keep it low? This is something I wanted to get right, especially using MSI Afterburner.
If you consistently use headphones, I suggest using them at 100% if noise isn't an issue. Share the temperatures your GPU experiences during gaming, along with the corresponding fan speeds, and I'll provide details. Auto might be a bit bothersome because the fan speeds fluctuate frequently.
But if it's at 100%, it might keep happening constantly, even when I'm not playing. It was about 60 at 75%.
Open MSI AB. Tap the small cogwheel beneath the fan speed setting (not the one on its left). Navigate to "Fan". Ensure "enable user defined software automatic fan control" is selected. Once confirmed, press the button, and you'll see a green line that moves up and down. Drag all the small gray dots as high as possible, then click OK.
Is the fan speed required to be set to automatic for it to function properly?
