Question Event ID 2 (NVIDIA Open GL Driver) ?
I’ve been puzzling over this today. My GPU memory clocks frequently spike to about 10000mhz even when idle, and I’d see the loading spinner next to my cursor. I checked Event Viewer and discovered thousands of warnings. It seems that each time a spinning load icon appears beside my cursor, new warning logs appear.
My setup:
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
MSI RTX 4070ti Ventus OC
32GB Kingston FURY Beast 5600mhz
Asus TUF Gaming B650-PLUS
Samsung 990 PRO 1 & 2 TB m.2’s
Corsair RM850x
Noctua NH-U12S
Fractal Design Pop Air
What I’ve tried:
Updated all AMD chipset and drivers, plus Nvidia GPU drivers.
Updated Windows.
The problem still exists.
EDIT: Since cncmd.exe is linked to the AMD graphics process, could this simply be a driver conflict? I do have the integrated graphics drivers installed.
Ensure there is no disagreement between your GPUs. When observing, please note the variation in CPU activity.
I face the same problem as he did on Windows 11. All drivers are up to date, yet it’s really frustrating. On Windows 10 I experience memory issues, but not on Windows 11.
