Here we are, Jesus, I'm really struggling. Let's talk about my setup.
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M K
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x16GB DDR4-3200MHz
GPU: MSI RTX 3070 GAMING Z TRIO LHR
M.2: Samsung 980 Pro 512GB
M.2: Samsung 860 Evo 256GB
SSD: Crucial 1TB
PSU: PowerSpec 650 Watt 80 Plus Gold
Up until now, I experience stutters in Overwatch 2 and MW 2019. Less intense graphics seem to work without problems. I looked into the matter and found fTPM could be the culprit. I updated the BIOS to version 1.2.0.7 AGES, which was meant to resolve the issue—but it didn’t help. Still, the stuttering persisted. I decided to disable fTPM and nothing changed.
If anyone has any advice or drivers to try, I’ve already tested everything. I also used DDU for GPU drivers and even reinstalled Windows twice, but nothing resolved the problem.

For instance, when launching MW 2019, the first 30-60 seconds run smoothly, but after that, I notice stuttering every 10-15 seconds. This matches exactly what fTPM-related issues look like. I thought it was my setup, but it didn’t fix it. I checked temperatures and clocks—everything was normal. In-game, the GPU and CPU times spike during the stutter and then return to normal.

Then I considered overheating VRM components. This is still uncertain in my mind because the board feels rough. Idle temps are around 60-73°C, which seems high for idle. I haven’t tested the VRM temps directly while testing, but that could be the cause. I also tried running games on different drives to see if a failing drive was the reason, but it didn’t help.

If anyone else is facing similar problems and has found a solution, please share. I’m really frustrated—I’ve tried everything possible. I’m considering swapping my CPU for an older motherboard (MSI x470 Gaming Plus Max). It might work, but since my current board is ATX-sized while the new one is M-ATX, switching back could be tricky. If you know of any other fixes, let me know.

It seems it's probably the CPU or MOBO, and I'm really sure about it now. I'm planning to come home and replace them. Will update later.
