Hello, I'm experiencing problems where my PC frequently triggers DPC watchdog violations at random. Initially, it mostly occurred while playing AOE4, but now it happens more often during idle or low workloads, and even in other games. Recently, it's become more common during idle periods and across various applications. The error code I received was 0x00000133, and the process took about five minutes to fully reset after a hard reset. During this time, my music, game audio, and Discord sound played perfectly normal, though sometimes the game audio would loop the latest sound, like an engine revving endlessly instead of functioning as intended. Usually, when this happens, the screen turns black, fans spin at maximum speed until the system restarts, and my monitor displays 'No Source detected.' I'm unsure where to begin troubleshooting. My IT friend suggested it might be related to antivirus software, but a search on Google indicates it could also be memory-related. Despite the PC running at full capacity with no visible issues, I'm still struggling to resolve this.
My IT friend mentioned watchdogs are typically linked to antivirus software, yet Google indicates a memory issue, which is confusing from a performance standpoint. The PC is running perfectly at 100%, so I’m unsure what’s going on.

What BIOS version are you using for your motherboard?
Occasionally, game audio loops the latest sound, resembling an engine revving endlessly instead of following the intended track. This usually results in the screen going black. You might want to try booting without any GPU CableMod cables and see if the problem continues. Are there any vertical riser cables involved?
You didn’t mention the operating system you’re using, aside from assuming it’s Windows.
