Hey everyone, got a weird issue in divinity original sin 2. I keep getting crazy frame drops that last for 5 or so seconds. I have thermaltake fans using the thermaltake tt rgb plus software and these frame drops are so bad the system even loses connection to the fan hubs or the software is freezing along with the game and the fans revert to default settings. I am playing on steam, verified my files, all settings maxed out. I’m at a loss.

What are the specifications of this setup? Current Mobo BIOS version.
What are your CPU and GPU temps when idle and under stress?
Are there any problems with other games?

MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI (MS-7C37)
Bios Version E7c37AMS.1J0
What CPUz reports
Version 1.J0 - AMD AGESA ComboAM4v2PI 1.2.0.7
Ryzen 7 5800X3D
32 Gb of Corsair DDR4 3200
Gigabyte 4080 gaming OC
2 - ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB 3D NAND NVMe Gen3x4 PCIe M.2 2280 SSD
1000watt EVGA 80+ gold PSU
CPU under load Prime95 reached 90°C (testing in game is pending but planned)
GPU under load 51 - 55°C Max
Occasionally frame drops and stutters appear in certain games, possibly due to loading new areas; "Divinity" is the only title causing issues.

When only a single game is causing issues, it's likely the problem lies with the game itself.
