Question: Did the PC freeze at "Press Del or F2"?
PC became unresponsive at "Press Del or F2" when using my Ryzen 5 3600. I attempted a full BIOS reset, turned off all peripherals, but nothing resolved the issue. Removing all devices worked temporarily, yet when I switched the CPU to a Ryzen 5 1600 it functioned properly. After reverting back, the PC remained stuck. The motherboard is an ASUS Prime A320MK, with an RX5700XT GPU, 2×8GB RAM at 2666MHz. Any recommendations?

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
Set up Ryzen 5 1600, then update the BIOS to the newest version before attempting to install the other CPU.
The 1600 is backed by BIOS versions as early as 217.
The 3600 needs BIOS version 4801 or above.

As @hussaj notes, updating the BIOS with the 1600 CPU could enable the motherboard to recognize the 3600.
The current stable BIOS is 6241, though two newer Beta releases exist: 6251 and 6253.
