Hello!
I have my PC next to a window similar to the one shown in the image. It has been this way for years, but now I've noticed something unusual and wondered if it might be harming the system. Is it safe to keep the PC in this position? The main concern is dust, though I haven't experienced any issues with moisture before. The PC gets cleaned every two months.
Best regards!

One, where exactly are you situated? Two, does the window in the picture let direct sunlight enter your space? Three, I haven’t noticed any specialized water cooling components in your setup. My inquiry about your location was based on the fact that sunlight intensity varies globally. My questions about two and three were to protect your plastic parts from damage caused by strong sunlight or UV rays. If the windows are kept closed while the sun is up, thanks to shades, you won’t have to worry. The open window provides a cooler surrounding air.

Hello, thank you for your message!
I'm based in the southern part of Spain. The sunlight isn't an issue because the PC is placed at a suitable angle, avoiding direct exposure. The windows usually stay open during mornings and evenings. Rain falls only about two weeks a year, but I was concerned about humidity.

I've observed this pattern consistently. The system remains at the same distance from the sliding glass door, typically open in the summer, especially in coastal Virginia. The humidity here is significantly higher compared to Spain.

When your house isn't close to a busy road with a lot of traffic (a lot of dust), it's probably fine. Hello from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Cheers.

When I was in college and then began working, I kept my PC in the same spot for around six years. There were no problems—no case discoloration—even though I was living just 15 kilometers from a volcano. You'll be fine!
