I don't know how to fix this. One day I was playing Valorant on my laptop when the keyboard stopped working. I went to a guy who fixed it for me. But then the screen broke again. It got really bright, like high contrast mode, and the right side of my screen moved over to the left, along with black dashes everywhere on the display. The whole screen froze up too. After many restarts, I finally managed to log in. I tried Valorant again but the same thing happened. Then I tried a game that needs less graphics power and it was the same problem. I tried for a long time and gave up.

Welcome to the forums, new friend! Do you make and model of your computer? If so, that info helps us a lot. Please check Device Manager (on Windows) and look for any yellow exclamation mark. Also use GPU-Z to see if there are any fields showing zero values. You might want to find out what BIOS version your laptop has right now too if you can log into the operating system screen.

My laptop is an Asus Tuf Dash F15 and when I check my device manager, there are no components listed. The GPUZ program also shows nothing for this machine.

Hey, try testing your parts like RAM and HDD. For RAM, use a memory test from Windows. For an HDD, run HD Sentinel. If Device Manager looks okay about video drivers, update the BIOS first. Then check for new video drivers and make sure Windows is up to date. Test it again after all that, then see if things work well. It's very important to clean the fans and get fresh thermal paste so you don't overheat. After that, test a game. If this doesn't fix anything, let me know! Hope this helps.
