Question Cyberpunk/Assassins Creed Valhalla crash computer
Question Cyberpunk/Assassins Creed Valhalla crash computer
I'm wondering if my CPU/MOBO or possibly the GPU might be faulty. Could it be related to the GPU?
Assassins Creed Valhalla stops working after the first cut scene, and the same happens with Cyberpunk 2077 on boot.
No errors appear in fresh Windows installs, graphics drivers, or C++ redistributable files. The game just crashes without any warnings.
Event log entries around the crash time for Assassins Creed:
Event 642, ESENT (x2)
Event 18, WHEA-Logger
Event 1101, EventLog
Event 41, Kernel-Power
Event 6008, EventLog
Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't crash the computer but displays "woah! Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined." on the error report from GOG.
UNTIL
Running it in Windows 8 compatibility mode causes a crash, then it restarts like ACV.
