I attempted to request a refund for this game recently, but it was rejected because I exceeded the two-hour limit. It’s not that I don’t want to play it, but I’ve spent a lot of time fixing issues just to get the game functioning properly. When I first started, the visuals were extremely poor, and often the screen would switch to another menu like inventory or an arcade mode, dropping to just 6 frames per second for a short time. After several troubleshooting steps, most problems were resolved except for one persistent issue: the game stutters every five seconds, making it difficult to enjoy. I checked various solutions and found some improvements, such as updating the graphics card driver, adjusting the monitor resolution, enabling DLSS for better performance, setting the frame rate to 60 FPS, prioritizing the game in Windows settings, and toggling VSync. At this stage, I can play for a brief time without stuttering, though it returns after a short while. I’ve also monitored my system performance closely and confirmed that my GPU or CPU never reaches full capacity. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I also turned off the steam overlay, but it didn't stop the stutters.

Then I used hexed.it to modify the code for the game following the instructions from the link I shared. Unfortunately, it didn’t resolve the problem. After switching the DLSS setting to "quality," the game ran for about two hours before stutters returned. I’m still exploring solutions to fully fix this issue.
