Hello everyone!
I am swapping my old Corsair CX 550 PSU, which I purchased nearly eight years ago, for a brand new RM650e from Corsair (CP-9020302-BR).
My current configuration:
1x PRIME B450M GAMING BR
1x Ryzen 2600
1x RTX 2060 (not very powerful) – MSI RTX 2060 6 GB
1x 16gb DDR4 + 1x 32GB DDR4 @ 3200 Mhz
1x NVMe 1Tb
1x SSD 500gb
1x HDD 1tb Seagate Barracuda
4 x 120mm Fans
Planned upgrade:
1x ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-Plus (90MB14A0-C1BAY0)
1x Ryzen 5500X3D
Questions:
From the images on the Corsair website, the PSU is modular and has two cables for the GPU and two output sockets as well.
Which one should I choose for my MSI RTX 2060 6 GB? Should I use the 12V -2x6 or the PCIe below the yellow square in the picture?
According to an AI I previously used to ask this same question, I received these results. But I feel uncertain about the answer:

Please clarify which specific cable and socket you are referring to on the power supply unit.

The PCI-E one located beneath the yellow square is designed for the 12V-2x6 power supply. This cable isn't suitable for older graphics cards.
