Hello, I recently acquired a 1440p Asus VZ27AQ monitor boasting a 75Hz refresh rate. Generally, when playing games, enabling VSync should restrict the frame rate to match this monitor’s refresh rate—as it has in previous titles on my system. However, I'm experiencing an issue with Apex Legends (AW). Despite configuring the refresh rate to 75Hz (approximately 74.95), and activating VSync, the framerate is being limited to 60 frames per second, as if my refresh rate were configured at 59.95 – which it is not. What’s the solution to ensure my FPS is locked at 75 instead of 60? I possess a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, and without VSync enabled, I consistently achieve frame rates exceeding 120 during gameplay, confirming that performance isn’t the root cause. Could you offer suggestions?

Why is it necessary to employ frame rate limiting and vertical synchronization? Choose only one of these options. I favor frame rate capping because it avoids adding delay, a characteristic that vsync introduces.
