It's straightforward. Should I purchase an Asus Strix 4090 OC now or hold off until the MSI 5090 Suprim SOC hits its MSRP (ignoring price differences)? Either choice means moving into a water block, custom water loop, and a 1600W PSU, using the recommended power cable from the GPU maker.

The setup will focus on three screens at 1440p with 144hz, mainly for Forza Motorsport max settings with all features turned on.

I'm planning to upgrade my system to an MSI 870E motherboard and a Zen 5 CPU.

What GPU am I using right now? If you're running older generations before the RTX4090, the RTX5090 makes sense.

I don't have a card. I only have integrated graphics now. I sold my Strix 4090 before the 5090 launch, assuming it would perform better. The Strix 4090 couldn't sustain 60 FPS on my setup while playing Forza Motorsport with all settings turned on.
