If hyp.exe is related to HoYo Play game (stack overflow issue), you may attempt the following from the game support:
Follow these steps and restart your computer:
Navigate to Settings - Time & language - Language & region - Administrative language settings - Change system locale.
"Tick" Beta: Adopt Unicode UTF-8 for global language compatibility.

Heya, the situation unfolded as expected. The event was linked to 0x00000124 with genuineintel.sys identified by WhoCrashed. I plan to adjust the thermal paste and possibly the cooler, though temperatures should likely be fine since HWinfo indicated normal readings. It might help to look through the dump for additional clues that could explain why this issue persists. It could also mean a processor swap would be necessary, but I’m not sure yet. Thanks johnbl, will attempt it, but note crashes occurred before installation and seem more frequent during playback.

I'm not claiming your RAM is incompatible, but I'm highlighting that it's absent from the QVL which raises my concern. Regardless, considering the recent dump, I believe the CPU is likely the main issue. The bugcheck returned a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR with an exception code indicating a machine check failure—typically pointing to hardware faults. Examining the dump reveals the WHEA_ERROR_RECORD section, offering more specifics about the hardware problem. Important details are found in the Machine Check Architecture part...

No issues with smallFFTs for an hour. Next update will come soon, I need to rest.

Good news. After completing the three Prime95 tests, enter the BIOS and turn off C-States for all processors. This will prevent the processors from entering a low-power state when idle. It might be that one processor is taking longer to power up when work starts (this does occur). Check if this resolves the issue.

largeFFTS remains consistent with no errors, targeting 0 at Maxtemps-55 degrees. I plan to test your concept.

The temperatures are far too low for Prime95, as CPUs usually overheat. It seems like effective cooling is needed.

As I mentioned earlier, the case performs well. The airflow seems good and the four fans assist effectively. Its stability on the desk also contributes. Of course, the card can get quite hot—reaching up to 80 degrees, with a maximum of 83—and before the fans activate I need an adapter for the case fans. That’s why I’m considering buying an ATX so I don’t have to.

But! Great news—it worked! I tried your solution, the one from Ubuysa and Johnbl’s advice. It seems the C-states were likely the problem, as similar issues occurred with other titles too, though less often. Thanks a lot! I haven’t had time for the last test yet; I’ll run it tomorrow to check for more crashes, but so far it looks solid! It really saved my skin.

This is more of a workaround than a real solution. You'll likely notice the CPU heating up slightly when idle since it remains at full power, and electricity usage might increase a bit (though it's probably not noticeable). This isn't the first time I've encountered someone finding this trick useful.

Also, if you're adjusting the CPU voltage or overclocking, try removing both settings first to check stability with C-States enabled.
