Question BSOD after overclocking i7-7700K using Asus EZ tuning?
Hey everyone, I remember using the EZ tuning on my Asus Prime Z270-K with an i7 7700k and a tower cooler. Now I keep getting BSODs. Would updating the BIOS help? Thanks for your help!
What BIOS version do you have currently? For troubleshooting purposes, it's helpful to provide your specifications such as CPU and cooler details, motherboard information, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, PSU, chassis, OS, along with the age of your PSU—including its make, model, and wattage. Check Asus's support page for any updated versions listed under your motherboard. When overclocking, avoid depending on apps or the OS; instead, manually adjust settings in BIOS. Also, consider reviewing the voltage levels your processor was operating at, as high or low voltages can lead to instability.
No code provided via the bsod. Checked the event viewer for critical bsod events.
Are you attempting to configure RAID? The Asus EZ Tuning Wizard will try to set up RAID automatically and won't start if the necessary storage isn't available. If you're unfamiliar with this process, it's likely you're not using the EZ Tuning Wizard for this task.
