When I start my PC, I hear two beeps before it begins loading the operating system. I think this might be an error code, but I haven’t found a complete list for my Lenovo IdeaCentre 5-14IOB6 Desktop - Type 90RJ. Could anyone help me find more information?

Thanks. Strangely it doesn't display a POST message, just the two beeps. I also tried to enter the BIOS by restarting the PC and pressing F1 multiple times, but I was unable to enter it. I also tried another method listed for the IdeaCentre, which is holding down the SHIFT key while restarting Windows, and it still wouldn't enter the BIOS.

Regrettably, all the steps I attempted (pressing F2 and F12, using "Advanced Restart," and holding SHIFT during restart) failed to reach the BIOS. During these actions, the system restarts at boot while showing a black screen without the Lenovo logo and then launching directly into Windows.

Which video formats does your computer handle? Does it depend only on built-in graphics? Which connection is used for the display? If you can, try another output and observe the effects.

It works with VGA and HDMI connections. Right now, I'm using VGA. I also have a Radeon RX 580 graphics card along with Intel built-in graphics.

I found out the "beep codes" came from a disconnected fan. Strange, because I couldn't access the BIOS or view the error during startup when my Radeon graphics card was installed, but fixing the fan made it work.
