Question BD checks out are always showing up as red if I turn off my computer.
I noticed lately that my laptop gets slow on battery power instead of when plugged in. It used to work fine before. Even while watching movies, it slows down. I found out the reason: the graphics card is still turning on even after I unplugged it, and this happens at normal temps like 50C. Is this normal? Is my battery broken or just getting old?
Do you have a specific laptop you want to share? Tell me the brand, model, and what it's like. Also, have you ever used this thing for big games before? How long has it been running those games?
Thanks for getting back to me! There was a tiny mistake in my note, it wasn't about the battery but the charger itself. Sorry about that! It's not that old, I got this thing in March 2020. The specs are Lenovo Y540 with an i7-9750hf CPU and a GTX 1650 GPU, plus 24GB of RAM. I use it all the time and leave it plugged in most days. I also checked the battery life status and it looks very good to me.
