Question Are you experiencing low usage and low FPS in Escape from Tarkov?
Question Are you experiencing low usage and low FPS in Escape from Tarkov?
I upgraded my PC some time ago and didn’t really focus on my FPS until now. I’ve found that my FPS stays around 35 to 100. When checking the component usage, I saw they’re only being used at 35% and never exceed 50%. I’m using Tarkov as an example here, since that’s the game I play most. I also noticed this in Apex and Rainbow Six Siege. Could someone explain why this is happening and if there’s anything I can do to improve my FPS? Thank you.
Your OS drive lacks sufficient free space, aiming for at least 30-40GB available. You're likely using NVMe drives for your games, but if not, they should be. Could you share your CPU cooler and case details? The latency test appears too high, so installing CPU-Z would be a good next step to review the SPD and Memory sections for performance insights. I’d recommend clearing as much space as possible from the OS drive before testing again.
Thank you for the reply, I will proceed immediately and inform you of the outcome.
Once you've cleaned up the system disk and confirmed everything functions, consider updating the BIOS and chipset driver. Execute ubm in the specified manner, then reboot. Allow a few minutes to stabilize. After that, run ubm with the browser closed and share the outcome.
I restarted my computer and re-downloaded all my games. UBM isn't working because the server is full, but I can send the results when I'm able.
Consider executing CrystalDiskMark on the relevant OS drive to verify the accuracy of the UBM display. It appears there could be an issue with that particular drive.
